For most people, the family invite. It is cheaper, asks only for your Gmail address, and we stand behind it for the whole term by moving you to a new family if yours stops working. Take individual only if you need your own membership and YouTube receipt, and accept that a suspension or ban by Google is not covered.
Google ties every family group to one country and expects its members to be in it. Tell us where you live before you order and we check that a family can take your account; if none can, we say so before you pay.
For the family invite, no: just your Gmail address, and you accept the invitation yourself. Individual membership is switched on directly in your account, so for that we need access to your Gmail; change the password once Premium is active.
