Privacy policy

• Your account: your email address, and your name and picture if you sign in with Google.
• Your orders: what you bought, the total, how you paid, the payment screenshot you upload, your phone number if you give one, and any note you add.
• Gifts: the name, email and message you enter for the person a gift is for.
• Messages: what you send through the contact form or support, and our replies.
• Things you choose to add: reviews, saved products, stock alerts and a newsletter subscription.

• To check your payment, deliver your order and keep it in your account.
• To email you about your orders, and to answer you when you write to us.
• To send our newsletter, only if you subscribed; every issue has a way to leave.
• To prevent fraud and keep the shop and your account secure.

We use a sign-in cookie to keep you signed in, and your browser's own storage to remember your cart, your currency and the products you looked at recently. These stay on your device.

We do not use advertising or analytics trackers, and we do not sell or rent your information.

A few services handle data for us, only to do their part:

• Supabase stores accounts, orders and payment screenshots, and handles sign-in.
• Vercel hosts the website.
• Resend sends our emails.
• Google, only if you choose to sign in with it.

Their servers may be outside Nepal. Payments go directly between you and your wallet, bank or transfer service; we only see the screenshot you upload. We share information with authorities only when the law requires it.

Orders, and what was delivered with them, are kept so you can find them again and so we can keep proper records. Messages are kept while they are useful for helping you. If you delete your account, we remove what we are not required to keep.

Your orders and details are in your account, and you can change your name and contact details there. To get a copy of your data, correct something or delete your account, write to support@ottsewa.com or the contact form. We may ask you to confirm it is your account first.

Your data travels encrypted, each account can see only its own orders, and only our staff can open the admin side of the shop. No system is perfect; if something ever goes wrong that affects you, we will tell you.
