ChatGPT Plus, ChatGPT Go or Claude Pro: Which AI Plan Suits You in Nepal?

Students, developers and office workers in Nepal keep running into the free limits. Here is what each paid plan is good at, what it costs in rupees, and how to choose.
If you use AI for anything serious, an assignment, a report, code for work, you have met the free limit. The message that says you have reached your limit and should come back later always arrives at the worst moment. A paid plan removes most of that. The question is which one.

ChatGPT Plus
ChatGPT is the all-rounder. Plus gives you OpenAI's stronger models, many more messages, file and photo uploads, image generation and voice conversations in the phone app. Students in Nepal use it to explain hard topics simply, practise IELTS and PTE writing, and prepare notes. Office workers use it for emails, translations between Nepali and English, and spreadsheet formulas.
Officially, Plus costs US$20 a month on an international card. Here it is Rs 699 a month or Rs 3,999 a year, paid with eSewa or Khalti, on a shared account.
Shared means: a few people use the same Plus account. You get every feature, but others can see regular chats. Use Temporary Chat for anything personal, and never change the account settings.
ChatGPT Go
OpenAI also offers ChatGPT Go, a cheaper official plan available in Nepal. It has lower limits than Plus and still needs a card to pay. If you have a card and only need a little more than the free plan, it is worth a look. If you rely on ChatGPT daily, Plus gives far more room.
Claude Pro
Claude, made by Anthropic, is the one many people pick for long, careful work: reading a hundred-page report and answering questions about it, editing a thesis, or understanding a codebase. Pro gives several times the free usage, Anthropic's latest models, Projects to keep documents together, and large file uploads.

Shared or private, the honest version
Shared plans are cheaper because several people use one account. That is fine for homework and everyday questions. It is not fine for passwords, ID numbers, client documents or anything you would not want a stranger to read. For those, pay for private.
Tips that make any AI plan more useful
- Say who you are and what you need: "I am a BBA student, explain break-even with a Nepali shop example."
- Paste or upload the material you are working from instead of describing it.
- Ask it to check its own answer, and verify facts that matter.
