PTE Preparation in Nepal: A 30-Day Plan with ApeUni

Ottsewa Team · 5 Nov 2026 · 2 min read

A realistic month-long plan for PTE Academic, built around the tasks that carry the most marks and the practice ApeUni Premium unlocks.

Every year thousands of students in Nepal sit PTE Academic for study visas to Australia, the UK, Canada and New Zealand. Most of them prepare on their phones with ApeUni. A month is enough for a big improvement if you spend it on the right tasks.

Know where the marks are

PTE has three parts: Speaking and Writing, Reading, and Listening. Some tasks feed marks into more than one skill, which makes them worth far more of your time.

TaskWhy it matters
Read AloudCounts for speaking and reading
Repeat SentenceCounts for speaking and listening, and comes up often
Write from DictationCounts for listening and writing; easy marks with practice
Reading and Writing Fill in the BlanksA large share of the reading score
Describe Image and Retell LectureSteady marks with a good template

Week 1: find your gaps

  1. Take a full mock test on ApeUni, timed like the real exam.
  2. Look at the AI score for each speaking and writing answer. Note fluency, pronunciation and content separately.
  3. Write down your three weakest tasks. That is your plan for the next fortnight.

Weeks 2 and 3: daily practice on the high scorers

  • 20 to 30 Repeat Sentence and Read Aloud questions a day, recorded and scored.
  • 15 Write from Dictation questions a day. Spelling matters; read them back.
  • Fill in the Blanks from the frequently repeated questions.
  • One Describe Image and one Retell Lecture a day using a fixed template, until it is automatic.

Week 4: exam conditions

  1. Two or three full mock tests, timed, with a headset, in a quiet room.
  2. Revise your templates for Describe Image, Retell Lecture and Write Essay.
  3. Sleep properly before the exam. Fluency drops when you are tired.

Getting the most from ApeUni Premium

The free app holds back the things that move your score in the last weeks: AI scoring on your answers, the full question bank with the frequently repeated questions, and mock tests.

LengthPriceBest for
5 daysRs 499A final push before the exam
10 daysRs 999A focused block on weak tasks
30 daysRs 2,499This whole plan

Time your order so the days cover your exam date. ApeUni's practice score is a useful guide, but the real exam is scored by Pearson and can differ.

ApeUni PTE Premium can be paid with eSewa or Khalti. Good luck: one month of steady practice really does show.
